For more than 25 years, Kim Sippola has been helping airports solve problems, build connections, and find new opportunities for growth. As founder and president of The Quotient Group, she created the aviation industry’s first marketing agency dedicated exclusively to airports, building a company rooted in firsthand airport experience and a real world understanding of the industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.

Kim’s aviation career began at Akron-Canton Airport, where she started as a receptionist and quickly became involved in nearly every aspect of airport operations. If you know Kim, you aren’t surprised by that fact. From marketing and community engagement to air service development and operations, she developed a broad understanding of how airports work and what it takes to help them succeed. Those experiences helped shape the practical, airport-focused approach that continues to define The Quotient Group today.

Aviation has been part of Kim’s life for as long as she can remember. She grew up at a local FBO while her father earned his pilot’s license, spending weekends around aircraft, flight operations, and the close-knit aviation community. Those experiences sparked a lifelong passion for travel and the industry itself. Even today, Kim says aviation is simply how she sees the world. That instinctive understanding of airports, passengers, and air service has shaped her career and continues to influence the strategic guidance she provides to airport clients across the country.

Kim is a leader in airport marketing, helping pioneer many of the strategies and communications practices that are commonplace in the industry today. A nationally recognized speaker and trusted advisor, she has shared her expertise at conferences, workshops, and industry events across the United States and internationally. Her ability to connect people, identify opportunities, and bring creative solutions to complex challenges has earned the trust of airport leaders, airlines, and industry partners alike.

Under Kim’s leadership, The Quotient Group has grown into a nationally respected agency, while expanding into new areas of expertise through Qfactor Airport Advertising and other aviation-focused services. She remains actively involved in client strategy, industry initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of aviation marketing professionals.

Beyond her work, Kim is an entrepreneur at heart with a passion for travel, community involvement, and lifelong learning. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her twin daughters who are starting their college careers (one in aviation management), exploring new ideas, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Known for her curiosity, energy, and seemingly endless network of industry connections, Kim is often the person people call when they need advice, a fresh perspective, or simply the right introduction.
