Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) collaborated with VisitLasVegas.com to highlight nonstop service on Southwest Airlines. The goal of the social promotion was to collect email addresses from participants living in the Palm Springs, CA region who were interested in visiting Las Vegas. The airport and destination marketing organization (DMO) partnered to create an amazing prize package including free airfare, free hotel, a helicopter ride and a generous gift certificate to create the ‘Ultimate Vegas Vacation’. Throughout the four-week social promotion, the partners successfully collected nearly 500 new, opted-in email addresses to reach with their message in the future.
